Washington DC

We headed to DC with the boys for the weekend. We couldn't have picked a hotter weekend to go. The entire East was baking during a sweltering heat wave. Saturday we decided to go the National Zoo. After about two hours we couldn't take the heat any longer and headed to the hotel for a swim.

Lions and

Tigers and

Ducklings? Oh well, two out of three isn't bad.

Unfortunately, Sunday wasn't any better. We visited the White House, WWII Monument, Lincoln Monument, and the Washington Monument. When we could take it no more we went straight to the National Museum of Natural History in search of some air conditioning. Despite the sunburns and excessive sweating, we had a great time at our nation's capitol.
